The Seattle Thunderbirds have traded goalie Matt Berlin to the Kootenay Ice in exchange for a fifth-round pick in the 2018 Bantam Draft.
“Matt was a solid contributor and an excellent teammate for us for both years here and we wish him good luck in Kootenay,” said general manager Russ Farwell.
Berlin has a 12-7-2-1 record in 24 games this season. He has a goals against average of 3.40 and a save percentage of .893 with one shutout.
