Grade: Senior.

Sport: Baseball.

Accomplishments: After giving up a leadoff home run to Auburn Riverside last Friday, Brown struck out 16 Ravens as the Trojans posted a 5-1 victory in an SPSL 3A showdown. Brown struck out the side in the third, fourth and fifth innings, and also struck out the first two batters of the sixth.

Favorite class: P. E.

If you could invite anyone in the world to dinner, whom would you invite, and what would you serve?: I would invite Mallard Man and serve worms, bugs and snails.

Also noted: Brown says, “I love dominating Rutledge in WOW, and showing Travis Shreve and Kevin Cleary what a cute girl looks like.”

ELISE JONES

AUBURN RIVERSIDE

Grade: Sophomore.

Sport: Track.

Accomplishments: Jones pulled off a jumping triple in an 81-74 victory against Bonney Lake on April 24. She won the high jump at 4 feet, 8 inches; the long jump at 15-3, and the triple jump at 31-10.

Favorite class: Language arts.

If you could invite anyone in the world to dinner, whom would you invite, and what would you serve?: I would invite my grandparents, and would serve custard pudding, rolls, and hashbrown casserole.

Also noted: Jones has a 4.0 grade-point average. She plans to attend Washington State University and become an architect. She plays two musical instruments: piano (the past 10 years) and alto sax (the past five years). She also plays soccer with the Sumner Flame.
