A beautiful mid-winter day greeted the hundreds who participated in the 5K run/walk to benefit Alaura Keith.
A beautiful mid-winter day greeted the hundreds who participated in the 5K run/walk to benefit Alaura Keith.

Family and friends held a benefit run/walk last Saturday for Alaura Keith, a Lakeland Hills Elementary School teacher who is being treated for cancer.

“Mrs. Keith’s Cancer Crusade” featured a 5K run/walk, coin drive and drawings for prizes.

The Valley Regional Fire Authority firefighters also were on hand for First-Aid and to participate in the 5K in full gear.
