Work on the Auburn Professional Plaza building continues downtown, on pace to open in November.

Rising on the site of the former Tavern Row between North Division Street and Auburn Avenue, the 88,000-square-foot, steel-girded building will be anchored by a new KeyBank building on the east end. Restaurant and retail space will take up the first floor, the City of Auburn will lease the entire second floor and share part of the third with medical and professional offices.

Developer Jeff Oliphant, president of JLO Washington Enterprises, said work on the three-story building should be completed by November, slightly ahead of schedule.
