Alberta was born in Decatur, Illinois to Frank and Mollie Bundy and moved to Cheyenne, Wyoming at an early age. Her grade school years, and one year of high school, were spent in Cheyenne. The family then moved to Kapowsin, WA. Alberta graduating from Kapowsin High in 1934. Alberta worked as a bookkeeper and office manager in several locations, including the cities of Burien and Algona. She served as office manager for the Algona Water District for 10 years, retiring in 1992. On November 20, 1934, Alberta married Sven Arthur Sundstrom. They were married 64 years. The family lived in Algona for 20 years then moved to Federal Way. She served on the Algona city council for 8 years and was active in church affairs.She is survived by 2 children; Britta, currently residing in Arizona, and Dennis of Federal Way, 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
