Busy Peloza makes it happen

In response to Ms. Herold’s letter in the Aug. 26 Auburn Reporter, one has to say “my goodness!”

Perhaps City Councilman Peloza does serve on 10 outside committees. In my experience, if something needs to be done, ask a busy person.

Auburn benefits greatly from a very large group of selfless volunteers. Food banks, free church dinners, service clubs, city boards and committees, etc. If Mr. Peloza chooses to serve us in multiple capacities, then I say “bravo!”

I believe Mayor Lewis and each elected councilmember are working hard to improve Auburn, and only a very negative person could not see the results that are taking place.

If you are not a volunteer in Auburn, now is a great time to get involved and help make positve changes in our beautiful city.
