Auburn’s Gary Hills was an award winner at this year’s InventHelp’s INPEX, America’s Largest Invention Trade Show.
Hills, owner and manager of Holiday Storage Solutions, LLC, was honored in the novelties/household category for his fast, easy and reusable storage solution for holiday and decorative lights, which prevents damage and tangling of lights.
He also won a gold medal in the show’s household category for the same invention.
Hills’ inventions were exhibited earlier this year at the Monroeville Convention Center in Pittsburgh.
The inventions recognized run the gamut from concept to finished product, from high-tech to “why didn’t I think of that” items. Awards were presented in categories ranging from advertising to toys and games as well as special awards from corporations and individuals.
An international committee judged the inventions.
