Attorney benefits

The law in Washington is intended to deal with child support only for a short time, according to the family law attorney’s advertisements, which appear in the Reporter frequently. He says, “When incomes increase, child support should increase,” – and should be changed every 1-2 years.

Note, that in these days, when so many people are out of work, he doesn’t mention any provision to decrease child support accordingly.

The only people to benefit by dragging divorced couples into court every two years are the attorneys who pad their checkbooks with somebody else’s hard-earned money.

The awful shame of it is they do it under the pretense that it is in the best interest of the children.
