Published 11:04 am Wednesday, September 5, 2012
Relive the days of the old West outlaws with “Gentleman Desperado,” a new interactive theater experience by Seattle playwright Keri Healey, at Mary Olson Farm.
The program runs 1:15 p.m. and 2:45 p.m. Sept. 29-30 and Oct. 6-7 at the restored farm, considered the best preserved historic subsistence farm in King County.
The event, sponsored by 4culture’s site specific projects, takes you back to 1902 when the Olson family was held hostage by notorious outlaw Harry Tracy. The theater experience takes place in vignettes throughout the farm, allowing guests to flow at their own pace; listening, watching and interacting with all of the outlaw action!
Tickets are $5 for adults, $3 for seniors and children 12 and under.
Purchase tickets at the festival or online at wrvmuseum.org/outlaw_days.html.
The farm is at 28728 Green River Road, Auburn.
