Ms. Mary E. Arnold, resident of Auburn, Washington, born in Springdale, Pennsylvania on October 10, 1932 died at 10am on September 13, 2012 following an injury that left her incapacitated for 5 months. Mary lived with her parents in Lebanon, Pennsylvania until high school and then joined the Navy in 1952 and was honorably discharged in 1957 as Personnel Man Third Class. Both of her parents Elise and William Arnold as well as her first cousin, Raymond Weiss from California, preceded her in death. Mary loved adventure and traveled all over the United States. Her Naval career took her to Hawaii. She was a fun loving and generous person who loved people like her mother. Mary was an avid sportswoman and gardener.
