Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, niece, friend, artist, and always, Prairie Girl. Patty was born February 24, 1929 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, and died February 3, 2013, in her home of 62 years on Steele Lake which she shared with her husband, Don, until his death five years ago. Her love of family, friends and home were the heart of her life. Her generosity, kindness, and artistic spirit will remain forever in the memories of all who knew her, especially her children Terri (Bill), Steve (Kathy), Dan (Kim), Doug (Elaine) and Melissa (George); 12 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by her sister, Joan Walker, brother, Neil Lemke (Diana), sister-in-law, Elaine Simpson and loyal companion, Raven. At her request, a private family memorial was held.
