Auburn’s International Festival sprouts Sunday

The International Festival – a community-wide celebration that embraces and honors the diverse cultures that make up Auburn – unfolds from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday in the downtown on 1st Street Southwest between A Street Southwest and South Division Street.
The festival runs in conjunction with the Auburn International Farmers Market and Auburn Days. It features an entertainment stage, community vendors, arts and craft vendors, an ArtRageous Zone with serapes of Mexico, and other activities for kids.
Entertainment stage lineup:
10 a.m. – Russian-Ukrainian Parousia Musicians & Vocalists
10:35 a.m. – Joyas Mestizas (mariachi dance)
11:10 a.m. – Abdoulaye Sylla (interactive drum and dance)
12:05 p.m. – Jeweled Scarab Dance Company (bellydance)
12:45 p.m. – Island Bound (Reggae)
2:15 p.m. – Global Heat (world music)
3:30 p.m. – YMCA Zumba (dance)
