Partridge doesn’t get enough credit

I need to address a comment made by Nancy Backus, who has misrepresented John Partridge in his key role with the creation of the Auburn Valley Humane Society.

In her January 2013 newsletter, Nancy Backus wrote: “John Partridge is in his first term and devoted to the creation of the Auburn Valley Humane Society (AVHS). He was our Council liaison to AVHS as it was getting established and has spent numerous hours at meetings and events to promote the humane society. Our community has really come together to support our pets, and John has played a KEY role in that. I appreciate his work.”

John has never mentioned this letter. I found it by mistake. In fact, when John speaks of the creation of the AVHS, he has given credit to the Auburn veterinarians.

Partridge spoke at the debate of serving you and of the changes Auburn needs. He speaks truthfully, and he has us in mind for the great future Auburn needs. Our current mayor and council could have made this change years ago, and we now suffer due to a focus on building empty dreams and allowing our justice system to fail.

A vote for John Partridge is a vote for a safe, renewed and positive place to live.
