Florence Louise Langhorne
Florence Louise Langhorne went home to God on November 3, 2013 after a battle with cancer. She was strong in her Christian Faith, an advocate for those in need and passionate about her large extended family. She brought many new lives into the world as an obstetric nurse for Auburn General Hospital and cared for elderly friends when they had few to turn to. Florence was the bedrock for her family and will be terribly missed.
She is survived by her six children and their spouses: Sandra, Kathie (Doug), Robert Jr., Michael, Nancy (Rick) and James. She leaves behind 22 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. All were the loves of her life.
There will be a memorial service Saturday November 9th, 1:00pm at Grace Community Church in Auburn, WA to remember Florence. All those who were touched by this remarkable woman are invited to attend. We ask that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to World Vision (http//:donate.worldvision.com) or the Auburn Food Bank (http://www.theauburnfoodbank.org) in her name.
