Auburn Police responded to the following calls for service between April 24 and May 4:
April 24
Theft: Overnight, 1300 block of 26th Street Southeast. Somebody snuck into a man’s motorhome and stole stuff.
Trespassing: 9:44 a.m., 320 Auburn Way S. A man found Burger King’s “throne room” a little too comfy, raised alarm bells by the time span he spent presiding on the throne and got the boot.
Forgery: 9:15 a.m., 4010 A St. SE. A woman tried to pass four counterfeit $20 bills at Albertsons, ran off on foot and then drove away.
Burglary: Overnight, 4321 A St. SE. Suspects unknown emerged from the darkness, slithered into a construction site, wrapped their coils around wires, ripped them out and slithered off again.
Vandalism: Overnight, 3700 block of H Street Northeast. Somebody vandalized a bank of mailboxes.
Fraud: 11:27 a.m., 5400 block of James Avenue Southeast. An unknown Oregon man opened a bogus credit card in an Auburn woman’s name in June 2010.
Burglary: 9:30 a.m., 502 8th St. NE. Somebody forced open a storage shed window and stole tools from the Park View Apartment complex.
Trespassing: 1:30 p.m., 101 Auburn Way S. People busted a man for trespassing at Safeway.
Theft: 2:10 p.m., 1102 Outlet Collection Way SW. Somebody stole a cell phone from a Starbucks but later returned it.
Shoplifting: 6:40 p.m., 1519 Auburn Way S. People arrested “an adult,” likely of one gender or the other, for shoplifting from Goodwill.
April 26
Theft: 9 a.m., 600 8th Street SE. Somebody swiped a propane tank.
April 28
Theft: 8 a.m., 1911 Auburn Way N. Somebody stole wheels and tires off a rental vehicle parked on a rental lot.
Theft: 10:30 a.m., 801 Auburn Way N. A male tried to steal a wheel from a vehicle in the Fred Meyer parking lot. A witness, or witnesses, supplied information about the wheel rangler.
Shoplifting: 6:01 p.m., 12722 SE 312th St. Police busted a girl at an Auburn supermarket for pocketing stuff without paying for it.
April 29
Trespassing: 7:46 a.m., 918 H St. SE. In the early morning hours, police booted a fellow from the White River Valley Museum and all of Les Gove Park until 2019.
Vandalism: 3:45 p.m., 421 37th St. SE. A boy angry at mom and granny took his upset out on their dwelling place.
May 4
Vandalism: 6:40 a.m., 31400 block of 106th Place Southeast. Trying to get inside, a woman’s ex-husband broke the frame to her front door
Hit and run: 1 a.m., 2444 F St. SE. After a car struck the fence of an apartment complex, its driver fled without reporting the collision.
Theft: 9 a.m., 2304 A St. SE. A couple reported the theft of 11 video games from their residence.
Robbery: 5 p.m., 102 Cross St. SE. A man fought with and tried to stab a loss prevention agent and run over a customer in a parking lot. Police later arrested him.
Assault with hands and fists: 5:15 p.m., 4000 block of A Street Southeast. Police busted a man for punching and choking his wife.
