Auburn gave way to a furry festival on Saturday.

Animals of all kinds, sizes and descriptions flourished at a place fittingly called Game Farm Park.

The seventh annual Petpalooza blossomed – from the Dog Trot, a family-oriented fun run/walk event, to the pet parade.

The Auburn Parks, Arts and Recreation Department puts on the innovative, internationally award-winning festival each May.

The free event featured live entertainment, pony rides, contests, an agility area, demonstrations, more than 150 vendors and other activities.
