The 2014 Queen
of Auburn Days

skirts the Kennedy legacy
Shaking hands with the
famous duo their name
Bobby and JFK her
claim to fame

Left over from taffy-
pulling days is a little
mischief mixed in her
attitude
There’s derring-do in eyes
that twinkle
Laughter the sound of a
tickled throat and her smile
says everyone’s a friend

She looks forward to her
reign
There’s just enough
magic underfoot for her
to kick around and brighten
up your day
