Auburn Mountainview history teacher earns state honor

The Daughters of the American Revolution recently honored Auburn Mountainview teacher Tori Ammons as the Washington State Outstanding Teacher of American History.

Ammons has a passion for American History, state and world history. She often dresses up in era clothing to bring authenticity to her classroom. She brings history to life and makes it important and relevant to each student’s life.

Ammon’s dossier was forwarded to the national DAR office and will be judged in the national competition.
