June snapshot: Auburn home prices up 11 percent; sales up 4 percent

Homes sales in Auburn were up 4.4 percent and home prices rose 11 percent in June compared to the same month last year.

A total of 164 homes were sold at a median price of $278,368, according to numbers compiled by Redfin, a Seattle-based real estate company.

The median price for single-family homes was $294,950 and $195,000 for condos.

The numbers only reflect transactions on the Multiple Listing Service, a local or regional database of available real estate for sale by member brokers.

Auburn homes spent an average of 22 days on the market in June.
