Auburn Community Players present ‘The Sound of Music’; concludes this weekend

The Auburn Community Players present the beloved musical, “The Sound of Music”, in October at the historic Auburn Avenue Theater.
The family friendly classic is brought to the stage featuring ACP’s talented cast.
Show times are 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday.
“The Sound of Music” is the story of a young nun, Maria, who is sent to be a governess to the seven Von Trapp children. Capt. Von Trapp and his children are captivated by Maria and the joy and music she brings to the family, but their happy lives are changed forever by the invasion of the Nazis into Austria.
The Auburn Community Players are composed of local, volunteer actors from the community. They produce two musicals a year, rehearsing and building sets and costumes in their spare time.
