Giving thanks to the community

Auburn Youth Resources would like to say thank you to the Muckleshoot Tribe for its remarkable gift of $10,000.

The donation was given to AYR during its Back to School Backpack Program. The program allows low-income families to prepare for the upcoming school year with the necessities children need to continue their education.

Auburn Walmart donated $500 from its Community Foundation Grant that “Filled the Bus” to help children remain focused on their education. And for that, AYR says thank you.

FORE … all the golfers at AYR’s 19th Annual Fundraising Golf Tournament held at Washington National Golf Course, thank you for your donations on the 14th hole.

Thank you to Zones staff, YMCA members and staff, along with the community members who donated school supplies to AYR’s Back to School program.

Thank you all for the gift of education readiness and the thrill of learning in our community.
