It’s an Auburn tribute – a day to honor veterans, past and present.

Under sunny skies, more than 5,000 people gathered along Main Street last Saturday to honor the many military men and women during the City of Auburn’s 49th annual Veterans Day Parade and Observance.

The mile-long parade, one of the largest of its kind in the country, featured more than 200 units, military vehicles, veterans units and honor guards, in addition to more than 30 high school marching bands.

Spectators also enjoyed the procession of drill teams, and community and scouting groups, intermixed with floats, antique and classic cars and other entries of interest.
