Auburn Police responded to the following calls, among many others, between Nov. 1 and 9:

Nov. 1

Bike theft: 8:44 a.m., 801 Auburn Way N. Somebody stole a bicycle of undisclosed make, model, description and value.

Shoplifting: 1:09 p.m., 221 Auburn Way N. A woman stole two presumably naughty items, undisclosed, from an adult store.

Vandalism: 1:15 p.m., 2110 block of K Street Southeast. Somebody chucked a rock through a vehicle’s windows.

Theft: 7:20 p.m., 1300 block of West Main Street. Somebody entered the lot of a closed business and stole metal, quantity, type and value undisclosed.

Nov. 2

Arson: 11:33 a.m., 3700 block of Auburn Way South. Somebody torched a woman’s car.

Trespassing: 12:32 p.m., 1519 Auburn Way S. Goodwill gave a misbehaving chap the boot and the one-year “stay away.”

Theft: 6:30 a.m., 1509 Auburn Way S. Somebody stole automatic fire alarm system equipment from an Auburn business.

Robbery with firearm: 10:34 p.m., 520 E. Main St. A male called 911 to complain that another male had whipped out a gun and robbed his business.

Nov. 5

Theft: 12:30 p.m., 1200 block of 32nd Street Northeast. Thieves stole a substantial amount of personal property from the front porch of a woman’s home more than a week earlier.

Threatening: 7:30 a.m., 30600 block of 116th Avenue Southeast. Two students at Rainier Middle School reported being threatened and harassed by another group of students.

Theft: Overnight, 1620 Perimeter Road SW. Somebody stole a battery from the YMCA.

Nov. 8

Bike theft: 9:28 a.m., 504 42nd St. NE. Somebody stole a bicycle from the parking lot of a warehouse.

Purse grabber: 3:58 p.m., 504 Auburn Way N. An unidentified male snatched a female’s purse and tried to stick it under his jacket, but she grabbed it back and held on.

Nov. 9

Theft: Overnight, 29300 block of 55th Avenue South. Acting under the cover of night, thieves stole a red Zodiac boat with an outboard motor and trailer.

Theft: 9:22 a.m., 5100 block of Frontage Road. Thieves took a woman’s TV stand from a U-Haul facility.
