Scouts tour fire station

The Valley Regional Fire Authority recently hosted its fifth annual Scout Night at the Fire Station.
Scouts toured Station 34 on Auburn’s Lea Hill, and were taught fire safety practices, basic first aid training, cooking safety and knot tying. They received information on how to be prepared for a disaster.
Firefighters and experts provided information on how to make their homes safe, test their smoke alarms and change the batteries, treat minor injuries, and how to design and practice a home escape plan.
