For the Reporter

Tayla Lynn, a third generation of country-music talent, performs at the Auburn Ave at 7:30 p.m. Saturday.

For Lynn, a southern girl who grew up in the heart of Tennessee, her country bloodlines are undeniable. Her grandmother is country-music legend, Loretta Lynn, and her father, Ernie, sang and played guitar in Loretta Lynn’s band.

“I can’t remember a time that I wasn’t in the wings in some town somewhere, watchin’ my memaw and my daddy on stage” Tayla recalled.

She knew she wanted to continue the family musical tradition from a young age, and was only 4 or 5 years old the first time her grandmother took her onstage. The combination of Lynn’s pure, natural vocal talent and her innate knack for crafting a story add up the makings of a star.

Tickets are $17 regular, $15 students and seniors.
