Lighten up, pedestrians

Regarding: “Motorists, beware of pedestrians” (letter to the editor, Auburn Reporter, Jan. 9):

I agree with his remarks as I like to take a daily walk, but I am also a automobile driver. It would be so helpful if people who walk, especially at night, would wear light-colored clothing. Black is a popular color, but difficult to see at night on streets that are not well lit or in the early morning hours.
