Sorry to see you go, Rottles

I’m writing with sadness after hearing that we are losing another downtown Auburn mainstay, Rottles Clothing and Shoes.

As a lifelong Auburn resident, it’s where my first pair of Nikes came from and my letterman’s jacket in high school. Tuxedos for our wedding. A birthday gift, just last month, for my husband.

You will be greatly missed, Jim and John, and the rest of the Rottles staff.

I wish we could have you for another 75 years.
