City presents free workshop today

The City of Auburn Office of Economic Development presents a free workshop on insurance and human resources today from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. at the City Hall Council Chambers, 25 W. Main St.

Feel at ease when you start your new business by applying the principles that will be taught at the workshop. A few of the topics covered will be HR best practices for hiring, firing and basic documentation that every business needs to know. Become aware of how to insure for risk such as loss of inventory and use of your place of business.

A panelist will also be discussing worker’s compensation and L&I insurance. Learn tips from an experienced attorney on how to avoid litigation.
