Valley Regional Fire Authority Firefighters worked with Auburn Police, King County Medic One and Airlift Northwest to stabilize and transport a man in his 20s to Harborview Medical Center following a car crash in south Auburn at 7:52 Friday morning.

Only one vehicle was involved in the crash, which was on Oravetz Road near the cross street with Kennedy Avenue Southeast, east of Auburn Riverside High School.

There were no other passengers in the car.

According to the VRFA, the man was wearing a seatbelt when his Ford four-door sedan hit a tree and flipped. The man was loaded onto the helicopter, which was waiting on the high school’s baseball field.
