Reminder: Upcoming festivals, concerts and construction in Auburn

The City of Auburn Traffic Division, Auburn Police Department and Streets Division will be working in the coming days and weeks to accommodate the extra activities, festivals and traffic.
The majority of the impacts will be seen on Auburn Way South and the White River Amphitheatre. Area residents need to plan accordingly for increased traffic and noise.
Construction
• Auburn Way South between Dogwood and Hemlock (daily). Project is scheduled throughout October
• Auburn Way South from Hemlock to SE 408th Street project is scheduled from July 6-September (will include nighttime work)
• State Route 167 Hot Lane Project: SR 18 will be partially closed at SR 167 on Saturday, July 25 and 26. WSDOT will be providing public notifications and detour route signage.
• Auburn Way South at approximately the 4200 Block (East of Poplar Street SE). Residential development project ongoing through the summer with night work as needed.
Concerts
• Sunday, Aug. 2: Concert (5 p.m. parking open)

Expect higher than normal traffic volumes.
• Saturday, Aug. 8: Concert (9 a.m. parking open)

• Sunday, Aug. 23: Concert (11 a.m. parking open)
