Riders of all ages competed for blue ribbons at the Save a Forgotten Equine’s ninth annual Benefit Horse Show at Donida Farm on Saturday.
Proceeds benefited SAFE’s horse rescue program.
Competitors rode in dressage, Western dressage, hunters, English and Western pleasure, halter, showmanship, and trails. There also were special classes for rescued and senior horses.
The public also was invited to Saturday night’s Northwest Summer Essentials Party, sponsored by 14 Hands winery, Pyramid Ales, Tim’s Cascade chips and Sparkling Ice. The evening included entertainment, a costume contest and drill team performances.
The SAFE Benefit Horse Show was presented by Western Empire Forage and Feed.
