Auburn Police responded to the following calls for service, among many others, between Aug. 18 and 23:

Aug. 18

Bike theft: 1:05 p.m., 101 Auburn Way S. Somebody stole a bicycle from its lawful owner.

Kids on high: 9:18 p.m., 1825 K St. SE. Police contacted three kids for being on the roof of Olympic Middle School. One had a dagger, drug paraphernalia and a can of spray paint.

Aug. 19

Vandalism: 12 p.m., 6800 block of Perry Avenue South. An unknown person vandalized a man’s vehicle in an unknown way.

Fraud: 11:16 a.m., 521 Auburn Way S. A man told police that somebody cashed a check that had been stolen from him for $2,900.

Aug. 20

Trespassing: 6:51 p.m., 1317 Harvey Road NE. The Alano Club kicked a man off the premises for bad behavior.

Theft: 7:30 p.m., 1700 block of H Street Southeast. Somebody stole a Samsung tablet and a leather pouch from an unlocked vehicle.

Theft from vehicle: 11 a.m., 4505 Auburn Way S. Somebody got into a woman’s car and stole her prescription medication.

Theft from vehicle: 10 p.m., 101 Auburn Way N. Somebody got into another woman’s car and also stole her prescription medication.

Aug. 21

Trespassing: 10:22 a.m., F St. SE and 5th. Taking exception to a fellow being on its property, BNSF told him to make tracks.

Theft from vehicle: Overnight, 1721 W. Valley Highway, N. While a man’s car was parked behind his place of employment, somebody stole from it a radio deck worth $1,115 and a hunting bow worth $1,100 that belonged to a friend. Tool marks around the gas fuel door and the driver’s door revealed that it had been pried in an attempt to access the vehicle.

Theft: 1:27 p.m., 32500 block of 107th Avenue Southeast. Somebody stole a complete Bose stereo system worth $500 from a woman’s living room sometime between Aug. 1 and 20.

Controlled substance: 3:44 p.m., 2600 block of 24th Place Southeast. Auburn Police with help from Valley SWAT executed a search warrant on a residence for the unlawful use of a building for drug purposes. Police arrested two women and seized a BMW the women had been using to transport, deliver and facilitate heroin sales.

Robbery:  3:52 p.m., 801 Auburn Way N. Police busted a man after he tried to rob a bank.

Weapons offense: 7:49 p.m., 30800 block of 124th Avenue Southeast. Police arrested a man for having unlawfully displayed a dangerous weapon.

Prowlus interruptus: 3:19 a.m., 6700 block of Lindsay Avenue Southeast. A thief was prowling a car when a homeowner interrupted his work. The thief got zip.

Aug. 22

Trespassing: 12:18 a.m., 5 14th St. NW. Taco Time showed two men and one woman the egress.

False information: 1 p.m., 1100 17th Street Southeast. For having his name spackled all over a warrant and for fibbing about his name, police busted a man.

Aug. 23

Trespassing: 1:29 p.m., 702 Auburn Way S. Under the Golden Arches, and much to Mayor McCheese’s displeasure, two disruptive customers seriously harshed Ronald McDonald’s mellow, so out the door they went.
