Robert LeRoy “Bob” Newman
Robert LeRoy “Bob” Newman was born on August 19, 1934 in Chicago, Illinois to Evelyn Ellen Smith and Howard Charles Newman. He died on August 13, 2015 in Auburn, WA.
Bob enlisted in the Navy during the Korean War. He was a member of the Auburn VFW Post 1741 and American Legion Post 78.
He is survived by his wife, Marian of 37 years and daughters Lorinda (Tim) Grant and Lorena (Joe) Brock. His sister, Jean Cox and his nephews. His grandchildren Lindsay (Matt) Carter, Robin Grant, and Patrick (Amy) Brock. His great-granddaughter’s Havana and Jolene Carter will miss their “Poppa” very much.
