The public is invited to attend the 17th annual Reaching Out Fair from 5 to 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 6 in the Auburn High School Commons, 711 E. Main St.

The event – hosted by the Cities & Schools Forum with the theme “Launch Your Future Now” – is designed for Auburn middle school students and their families.

The fair features a resource information, free pizza and dessert, informative breakout sessions and a drawing for a scholarship and prizes.

Students and families will have the opportunity to learn how to plan and prepare for high school, college and career. Representatives from community agencies and organizations; colleges and universities; career and technical programs; apprenticeship programs; advanced placement; and business and industry will be available to provide information and answer questions.

Additionally, there will be breakout sessions to learn how to pay for college; access colleges, universities, technical programs and apprenticeships; enter innovative and interesting careers; and explore high school leadership opportunities.
