For the Reporter

Raymond Handling Concepts Corporation, a leading materials handling equipment supplier in the Northwest and Northern California, is holding an eBay auction to raise money for two breast cancer charities – the Tina Turner Memorial Foundation and Northwest Hope and Healing.

The auction features a Raymond’s 8210 Walkie Pallet Truck, painted the iconic Breast Cancer Awareness pink.

Those interested in supporting the cause can bid on the Pink Pallet Jack Project here. The auction will be open until noon Wednesday.

“Breast cancer touches every one of us. As the market leader, Raymond Handling Concepts is in a unique position to support this important cause. To move our enterprise into action is the expression of who we are as leaders in our community,” said Steve Raymond, president of Raymond Handing Concepts Corporation. “We have painted an 8210 electric pallet jack pink as a declaration of our commitment to this important cause. The money we raise from the auction will help the charities we are partnered with continue their important work. And above all, we are having a lot of fun doing it.”

During October, The Raymond Corporation will be donating $10 from every lift truck sold to support breast cancer research. RHCC will also be giving Pink Pallet Jack Ribbons to everyone that donates $20 to $500 on the Materials Handling Store. All proceeds from the Pink Pallet Jack Project ribbons will be donated to charity.

Open house

In addition to the auction and partner projects, to promote the benefits of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the company is opening its Auburn facility at 3500 W. Valley Highway N., Suite 101, to the public for an open house on Tuesday, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The company’s partners, customers and neighbors are invited to attend, meet Steve Raymond and see the Pink Pallet Jack.
