Merlin (Merle) Schager
Merlin (Merle) Schager of Auburn, WA died on October 31, 2015 from a long and courageous battle with heart disease.
He was born on April 23, 1934 in Sisseton, SD. Merle served in the United States Air Force and had a 34 year career with Smith Brothers Dairy.
Merle played Football and Baseball at Auburn High School and Western Washington University. He and his wife Donna enjoyed attending UW Husky Football games and traveling over the years with their dear friends. He was an avid Husky, Seahawk and Mariner Fan.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years Donna, children Vicki (Craig); Corey (Happiness); Granddaughter Marisa and Grandson Chase. His daughter Darsi precedes him.
Services will be held at Grace Community Church in Auburn on Thursday, November 12 at 11:00 am. Please wear your favorite sports attire!
