Trumpeter Bobby Medina brings back the music of Herb Alpert & the Tijuana Brass.

Trumpeter Bobby Medina leads a fast-paced show, Whipped Cream & Other Delights – Tribute To Herb Alpert, at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Auburn Avenue Theater, 10 Auburn Ave.

The show revives the soundtrack of the 1960s and the music of the legendary Alpert and his Tijuana Brass. Alpert and his band’s music can best be described as ’60s Mariachi-inspired instrumental pop. The music achieved numerous platinum status records and has been featured on radio, television specials and on the big screen for decades.

Medina’s new show authentically re-creates a sound that was quirky, retro, hip and promises to bring back fond memories.

Meet special guest Dolores Erickson, known as the Whipped Cream Lady. She was the model that appeared on the iconic Whipped Cream album cover. She’ll be on hand to share stories and sign Herb Alpert memorabilia.

Tickets are $20 regular, $18 students and seniors.
