My school tax bill remains level

Jeanne Herold should have an answer to her comment on school taxes (“Enough: vote noon school levy”, Jan. 8, Auburn Reporter).
I stated that voting for the replacement levy would not increase your school taxes.
Here is a record of my school taxes for the last five years:
2010: $1,624.93
2011: $1,876.63
2012: $1,584.83
2013: $1,483.39
2014: $1,541.12
2015: $1,817.67.
Thus, my highest tax year was 2011. Thus, the total school tax remains level. The amount of my tax is based on the assessed evaluation of my property. The rate for 2017 is $4.13 per thousand of the assessed valuation of my property. If the value of property taxes goes up or down, that determines your school bill.
