Wilbur A. (Luke) Lucas

After 80 years Luke passed away peacefully on February 2, 2016. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Donna, his three daughters and their families – Kimi & Pat; Julie & Todrick, Sabina, Justin; and Karen & Jon, Zamora, Sehoya, and brother Garl.

Luke loved his family and friends, coaching football, golf and swimming, his garden and sharing his dahlias as big as dinner plates, and socializing with friends in Arizona and anyone else. No matter where he went he would find someone to chat with and find out they know someone in common or were related. He always had a story to share (from his army football days to silly squirrel antics), a helping hand to offer, and a smile or smirk on his face. His wack sense of humor will be missed. Luke and Donna volunteered over decades in Marriage Encounter, Engaged Encounter, and Holden Village. His friendships lasted a lifetime and he made a positive difference in the lives of those fortunate enough to know him. He will be missed dearly.

A memorial service will be held at Aegis of Callahan House in Shoreline, WA on February 13, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America or Wounded Warrior Project.
