William Hayes Holman II
April 11, 1979-February 8, 2016
The world has lost a real life adventurer. William, better known as Hayes to some, never met a sport he couldn’t do with his natural athleticism. Even growing up, he was constantly seeking a thrill on the slopes, or on a skateboard, or even in his back yard. After graduating from Auburn Senior High School, he joined the Marine Corps, and even through boot camp his charisma made him a natural born leader of his graduating class.
William was a man that was loved by so many and easily became your friend. He had a goofy charm that drew everyone to him. William always had a witty comeback for any situation and was usually the cause of an eruption of laughter.
William was an amazing father that encouraged his sons exploration of fun and curiosity. The stars were never out of reach when he was with them. His life has been taken from us too soon.
William is survived by his wife Linda Holman, two sons, Cameron and Liam Holman, his parents John and Arlista Holman, his sister Brena Williams and nephew Robert Williams.
A celebration of life will be held at Auburn First United Methodist church on Sunday, February 21 at 5:00 PM
