Auburn Actors’ Guild performs ‘Damn Yankees’

The Auburn Actors’ Guild presents the Broadway classic “Damn Yankees” at the Performing Arts Center, 702 Fourth St. NE.
Performances are 7 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday – March 3, 4, 5, 10, 11, 12.
A middle-aged baseball fanatic Joe Boyd trades his soul to the Devil for a chance to lead his favorite team to victory in the pennant race against the New York Yankees. The musical includes such memorable tunes as “Whatever Lola Wants,” “Heart” and “Those Were the Good Old Days.”
The classic has won 11 Tony Awards, including best musical.
Tickets are available at the door: $12 general admission, $5 youth under 12, seniors and active military.
