Auburn Police responded to the following calls for service, among many others, between March 10 and 14:
March 10
Trespassing: 7:31 a.m., 102 Cross St. SE. Police busted a female at the King County Transit Center, bringing to a timely end the spree of trespassing, theft and vandalism she’d officially launched at The Grocery Outlet.
Shoplifting: 9:04 p.m., 1101 Outlet Collection Way SW. A woman stole a handbag from an unidentified business.
Fraud: 4 p.m., 12722 Southeast 312th St. A boy tried to fob off a fake $50 bill on a business.
Vandalism: 7:05 p.m., 503 4th Avenue SE. Unknown suspect(s) slashed the tires of a vehicle at the Parkview Apartments.
Theft: 7:25 a.m., 700 block of 22nd St. SE. Somebody stole a stroller from a porch.
March 11
Car vs. pedestrian: 9:39 a.m., 1241 Auburn Way N. An unknown motorist struck a man and then drove away from the Dollar Tree parking lot.
Vandalism: 9:25 a.m., 417 O St. NE. Somebody sprayed graffiti in the alleyway in the 400 block between O Street Northeast and N Street Northeast.
DUI: 5:21 p.m., 1000 Harvey Road NE. Police busted a female for DUI in the 1900 block of A Street Southeast because of her earlier involvement in a collision in the 1000 block of Harvey Road Northeast.
Assault on officer: 7:45 p.m., 2402 Auburn Way S. A woman got really plastered at the Muckleshoot Casino, tried to attack an officer and got herself involuntarily committed owing to the buckets of booze sloshing about in her system.
March 13
Theft: Overnight, 820 Pike St. NE. A person or persons unknown broke through a woman’s rear van window then took a laptop computer and a bag of hair styling gear.
Felony weapons offense: 9:50 p.m., 29500 block of 51st Avenue S. A male shot a firearm in city limits.
March 14
Theft: 7:31 a.m., 1200 block of 29th Street Southeast. A guy smashed a vehicle’s window and stole items from said vehicle with two children inside.
Animal problem: 8:12 a.m., 5800 Marshall Avenue SE. One leashed dog injured another leashed dog.
Fraud: 7:30 a.m., 702 Auburn Way S. A man palmed a bogus $100 bill off on one of Mayor McCheese’s toiling minions.
Vandalism: 8:04 p.m., 700 block of 17th Street Southeast. An unknown person hurled a rock through the front window of a woman’s home.
