The Valley Regional Fire Authority responded to 224 calls for services between March 7 and 13, among them the following:

March 7

Accident: 8:34 p.m., (Lea Hill). Firefighters hustled to the 127000 block of Southeast 312th Street to help a teenage driver who had sustained back injuries in a T-bone accident. A private ambulance transported the kid to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center (MAMC).

March 8

Collision: 6 p.m., (Auburn). After firefighters stabilized the neck and back injuries of a man and two teenage girls who’d been involved in a two-car, rear-end accident on Auburn Way South, a private ambulance transported all of the injured parties to local hospitals.

March 9

Vehicle vs. pedestrian: 3:48 p.m., (Pacific). After firefighters evaluated a teenage boy who’d been struck by a vehicle in a school zone, the boy’s mother transported him to MAMC, just to be safe.

March 10

Aid call: 2:45 p.m., (South Auburn). Firefighters and King County Medics evaluated a senior citizen who was complaining of chest pain, and a private ambulance transported him to St. Francis Hospital for more treatment.

March 11

Aid call: 7:05 a.m.,(Lakeland Hills). Firefighters helped a young woman who was complaining of rapid heart rate and dizziness and transported her to MAMC for more treatment.

March 12

Aid call: 12:47 p.m., (Pacific). Crews evaluated a sick infant, and a private auto transported him or her to a local care facility.

March 13

Energized line down: 2:50 p.m., (South Auburn). Having responded to a power line down across 21st Street Southeast, firefighters found the still-juiced line lying across multiple cars and into the street, so they closed the road until Puget Sound Energy could remove the line.
