What about the independent voices?

In reference to “Join political process on Caucus Day” (Brian L. Gunn, Reporter, March 18): It’s just another politician that is trying to protect his lowly job. Not everyone is a Republican or Democrat. Some of us have the common sense to vote for whomever the best candidate is.
But, of course, those of us who are independent are left out of the voting program.
All of the caucuses should be open to everyone, and everyone should have a say, no matter what it is.
This is one of the primary reasons that this country is in the shape that it is now. Both major parties and the electoral college count on the two-party system and literally take the vote away from anyone who is not registered to either party.
This needs to change and change quick before the government has completely taken over this country.
