Auburn Police responded to the following calls for service, among many others, between April 5 and 11:
April 5
Theft: 7:30 a.m., 11200 block of Southeast 313th Place. A thief or thieves lifted numerous items from a vehicle, including tools, a GPS device and a camera, then vanished into the morning.
Junk mail bandit: 4:48 p.m., 600 block of 5th Street Southeast. A woman tried to steal junk mail from a mail box but got busted.
Assault: 9:41 p.m., 2400 block of 17th Drive Southeast. Police arrested a woman for provoking an assault.
April 7
Burglary: Overnight, 228 1st St. NE. Bad dudes used the cover of night to swipe a 32-inch LCD television and janitorial keys from a building.
Disorderly conduct: 8:05 a.m., 501 Oravetz Road. Police busted a teenage girl at Auburn Riverside High School for interfering with a classified employee by force, and then booked her into jail.
Recovered stolen property: 4:02 p.m., 4510 Frontage Road. Somebody venturing into a grassy, swampy area found an ATM thieves had stolen from a convenience store in Kent in 2015.
April 8
Trespassed from Jack in the Box: 7:36 a.m., 340 15th St. NE. “To misbehaving customer — hit the road, Jack.”
Theft: 6:30 p.m., 221 Auburn Way N. Somebody sneaked off from Lover’s Package with something naughty.
Weapons offense: 9:08 p.m., 400 block of F Street Southeast. A male damaged his ex-girlfriend’s vehicle.
April 11
Vandalism: Overnight, 2200 block of Forest Ridge Drive Northeast. Somebody slashed the tires of a vehicle parked in a driveway.
Vandalism: 12:15 p.m., 2800 block of Auburn Way North. Police busted a guy for vandalism and burglary, and for having car theft tools and a dangerous weapon.
