For the Reporter

Teen makers are invited to check out a two-hour workshop weaving giant webs of electroluminescent (EL) wire.

The workshop, offered through the City of Auburn Arts, Parks and Recreation Department, runs from 3 to 5 p.m. Tuesday, May 24, at Veterans Memorial Park, William C Warren Building, 405 St. NE.

4Culture Tech Specific and The Rec/Auburn Teen Center support the program.

Working alongside artist Suzanne Tidwell, teens will create a hanging electroluminescent (EL) wire artwork that will be installed in the new Maker Space in the Community & Event Center in Les Gove Park, set to open in late June.

Workshop is free, but space is limited.
