For the Reporter

It’s AugustFest.

Formerly known as Auburn Days, the reshaped community festival comes to downtown and Les Gove Park on Aug. 13 for a full day of entertainment and food, arts and crafts, a parade and car show.

The City of Auburn assumed coordination of the festival after Connie Henke, the Auburn Days’ longtime coordinator and community advocate, retired last year. Over the past several months, plans for a new festival have been developed that blends pieces of Auburn Days with parts of a new festival in Les Gove Park.
