Classic dog show comes to Argus Ranch

Auburn hosts one of the most prestigious dog show events on the West Coast this weekend.

The Puget Sound K-9s presents the United Kennel Club Washington Classic at Argus Ranch, 35612 212th Way SE.

Registration begins Friday, with judging Saturday and Sunday.

The UKC hosts three Classic events annually – in North Carolina, Michigan and Washington. Participants come from throughout the United States and Canada.

Established in 1896, the UKC is one of the largest all-breed performance-dog registries in the world.

Programs include obedience trials, rally obedience and agility trials and outdoor judging contests. Also included is a junior program.

The show is open to the public, and all dog lovers are welcome.
