Pacific open house in the park set for Aug. 12

The Pacific Police Department hosts an open house on Friday, Aug. 12, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Centennial Park, 100 3rd Ave. SE.

The event will include a barbecue, live music, police car rides, a SWAT vehicle on display, child identification kits, face painting and inflatable toys. The Reptile Man, a show sponsored by ABC Mini Storage, is 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.

The open is free to everyone.
