Auburn Police responded to the following calls for service, among many others, between Oct. 12 and 15:
Oct. 12
Vandalism: Overnight, 124 West Main St. Vandals defaced Harold’s Plumbing with graffiti.
Burglary: Overnight, 1347 Auburn Way N. Burglars hit the long-closed north-end Albertsons store.
Pervy: 3:40 p.m., 110 2nd St. SW. Police busted a 25-year-old man for asking a 16-year-old girl to have sex with him on a transit bus.
Oct. 13
Trespassing: 9:56 a.m., 1317 Harvey Road NE. Police removed a troublemaking no-goodnik from the Alano Club.
Theft: 10:30 a.m., 20 block of 15th Street Northeast. Somebody stole a cellphone from another somebody at a convenience store, and the GPS function revealed said phone to be somewhere in Kent.
Fraud: 2:28 p.m., 18 Auburn Way N. A male of the species tried to cash a bogus check at a local bank, but when the bank called 911, this male skdaddled, leaving behind both bogus check and fake identification.
Theft: 2:45 p.m., 100 3rd Avenue SE. Somebody stole a phone and netbook from Pacific City Hall while the owner was in a hallway of said hallowed place of government.
Oct. 15
Burglary: Overnight, 1802 A St. SE. An unknown bad guy, or guys tried to force entry into a coffee stand that didn’t belong to them.
Theft: 11 a.m., 700 Interurban Trail S. Some unknown putz stole a woman’s purse while she was sleeping on the Interurban Trail.
